Women in Surveying is more than a movement; it's a testament to the power of collaboration among women in the surveying field. For over a century and a half, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has shaped the profession without a dedicated focus on gender diversity. This lack of targeted support is reflected in the profession's demographics and retention rates: men comprise 78% of the field, with an average membership duration of 29 years, compared to just 16 years for women.
Our mission is to work alongside RICS and its members to not only attract but also retain women in surveying. Our approach is designed to be:
